With Christmas day fast approaching, churches are looking to add some extra oomph to help promote their worship services. One way to do that is by adding a countdown timer to the service somewhere on your homepage. Some churches choose to use a countdown timer for every service.

Aboundant offers two ways you can add a countdown timer: through the divi module with the same name, and through The Events Calendar. With the latter, the countdown is connected to an event in your calendar. With the former, you have a little more control over how the timer looks.

While Aboundant has two options for countdown timers, it’s hard to find a countdown timer feature offered by most of our competitors.
