We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website visitors; this policy sets out how we will treat your personal information.

1. What information do we collect?

We may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal data:

Our advertisers/payment services providers may also send you cookies.

We do not publish Google AdSense interest-based advertisements, or ads from other similar services, on our website.

3. Our Opt-in Email Lists

We have an opt-in email list that keeps subscribers and clients updated about new features, special sales or offers from Aboundant, new content on our website, third-party offers, and other information we believe is useful. These lists are managed through ActiveCampaign and are compliant with their policies. Every email that we send to the members of these lists contains a clear link for them to UNSCUBSCRIBE and OPT-OUT of the list.

4. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

5. Media

Suggested text: If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

When you submit information via a contact form, we generally keep it indefinitely, or until the information is no longer needed for customer service purposes.

Where you submit personal information for publication on our website, we will publish and otherwise use that information in accordance with the license you grant to us.

All our website financial transactions are handled through our payment services providers, PayPal, Stripe, and QuickBooks. We will share information with these companies only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing payments you make via our website.

Aboundant does not store credit card data, but our payment processors do.

Aboundant.com uses remarketing services to advertise on third party websites (including Google and Facebook) to previous visitors to our site. It could mean that we advertize to previous visitors who haven’t completed a task on our site, for example using the contact form to make an inquiry. This could be in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page, or a site in the Google Display Network. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits. Of course, any data collected will be used in accordance with our own privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

You can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Preferences page, and if you want to you can opt out of interest-based advertising entirely by cookie settings or permanently using a browser plugin.

8. Disclosures

We may disclose information about you to any of our employees, officers, or agents insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes as set out in this privacy policy.

In addition, we may disclose information about you:

(a) to the extent that we are required to do so by law;

We will take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.

We will store all the personal information you provide on our secure (password- and firewall- protected) servers. All electronic transactions you make to or receive from us will be encrypted.

Of course, data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.

You are responsible for keeping your password and user details confidential. We will not ask you for your password.

We may update this privacy policy from time-to-time by posting a new version on our website, at which time it becomes immediately effective. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes. We may also notify you of changes to our privacy policy by email. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.

You may instruct us to provide you with any personal information we hold about you. Provision of such information may be subject to the payment of a fee.

You may instruct us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes by email at any time. 12. Children’s Information

We believe it is important to provide added protection for children online. We encourage parents and guardians to spend time online with their children to observe, participate in and/or monitor and guide their online activity. This website does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian believes that this website has in its database the personally-identifiable information of a child under the age of 13, please contact us immediately (using the contact in #13 below) and we will use our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

This privacy policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website and regarding information shared and/or collected there.
This policy does not apply to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.

The website contains links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of third party websites.

This site uses affiliate links and does earn a commission from certain links. This does not affect your purchases or the price you may pay.
